Student (6 - 16 years) April 16, 2010 Parade Theme Announced The Annual Wainwright Stampede Parade's theme for 2010 will be "Proud to be Canadian!" April 7, 2010 Rodeo Format Changes Introducing a makeover at the Wainwright Stampede. This June 24 to 27th the 57th annual Wainwright Stampede will rock with an exciting new “Battle for the Buckles” format. For the first time in years, the Rodeo will have a Championship Sunday performance where the Leaders after the first 4 Rodeo performances and slack will meet head to head at Sunday afternoon’s “Battle for the Buckles”. Only here will the 2010 Champions be declared. With the Sunday “Battle for the Buckles” finale and more enhancements, the Wainwright Stampede will rocket into one of the top Rodeos in the country with 5 Rodeo performances and 4 Chuck Wagon performances all compacted into 4 days of Stampede action. Stay tuned. More details on this thrilling new development will be available soon. Additional major announcements regarding new entertainment and star rodeo performers will be made leading up to the Wainwright Stampede “Battle for the Buckles” Championship.
